Girls' Volleyball prevails over B-CC

The Blair girls' varsity volleyball team (10-2) defeated the Bethesda- Chevy Chase Barons (7-5) in three lengthy sets. The match was special for the Blazers because it was senior night, the last home game for seniors before playoffs. The Barons played a tough game throughout the match, but the Blazers were able to hold their own and eventually outplayed them. The scores for the three sets were: 25-19, 25-17, and 25-22.


Field Hockey demolishes Kennedy on Senior Night

Blair varsity field hockey (4-5) dominated the Kennedy Cavaliers Monday night, winning 7-0. The game was a perfect way to close the season as the Blazers advance towards playoffs. Following the game, the Blazers congratulated their seniors amid their final game at Blair's stadium.

On a rainy day in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the stage was set for the first ever MLS Cup. There was a loose ball, and a pileup ensued. The play moved to the other end of the court, and everyone in the stands followed the action, except for Dawn Smith, senior Gabrielle Smith's mother, who was focused on her daughter. Blazer shooting guard Gabrielle didn't get up and follow the play like everyone else. She lay on the gym floor curled up in a ball.
