Girls' Volleyball dominates Einstein

The Blair girls' varsity volleyball team (8-2) was able to outplay the Einstein Titans (1-9) on Thursday in only three sets. The match featured a quick offense from the Blazers as they varied up their plays and made use of their second-string players. The scores for the sets were: 25-13, 25-11 and 25-12


Girls' volleyball defeats Paint branch

The Blair girls' varsity volleyball team (5-0) was able to subdue the Paint Branch Panthers (2-2) on Wednesday night. The Panthers proved tough with strong blocks coupled with aggressive strikes, but the Blazers kept their cool and were able to ultimately outplay their opponent by the score of 25-17, 18-25, 25-9, 25-20.


Girls' Volleyball crushes Clarksburg

The Blair Blazers (4-0) were able to soundly defeat the Clarksburg Coyotes (1-2) on Monday night. Blair pulled together a strong defense and kept pounding Clarksburg with fast spikes and consistent serves, resulting in 3 sets for the Blazers and a quick match; the scores for the sets were 25-12, 25-16, and 25-16.

Girls' volleyball suffers tough loss to Whitman

The Whitman Vikings (7-4-1) narrowly beat the Blair Blazers (6-6), 17-25, 21-25 and 17-25. For Blair, this was senior night, the last home game of the season, making the game more animated and exciting. Although Blazers lost, their amplified spirit and excellent teamwork helped them to play an excellent game.

Homecoming dance moved to the gym

This year, instead of being hosted in the student activities center (SAC), Blair's homecoming will be held in the gym. The Student Government association (SGA) made this change because of safety reasons and an increase in space and possibilities offered by the new venue.

Cougars secure close victory over girls' volleyball

The girls' varsity volleyball team fell to the Quince Orchard Cougars in a close game on Thursday, ending their run in the playoffs this year. The game extended into five sets, with scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 23-25 and 13-15.

The girls' varsity volleyball team (1-2) defeated the Wheaton Knights (1-2). Despite dropping the first set, the Blazers managed to turn it around and beat the Knights in four sets.


Barons volleyball bring down Blazers

The girls' varsity volleyball team (0-1) was overwhelmed in a difficult match against the B-CC Barons (1-0), whose powerful offense seemed unstoppable for the Blazers. Though Blair showed improvement as the game progressed, they dropped all three of the game's sets with scores of 12-25, 16-25 and 14-25.
