As spring rolls into season, Takoma Park locals take advantage of the vendors that open shop every Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Laurel Avenue. Products offered include seasonal produce, baked goods, meats, and cheeses, grown with an emphasis on organic cultivation.

Blair's ceramics students visited The Glenstone Museum in Potomac, Maryland. It is a private contemporary art museum in Potomac MD, founded in 2006 by American billionaire Mitchell Rales. Students got the opportunity to analyze famous contemporary art pieces (did not have permission to photograph) and explore the magnificent gardens that surround the several indoor galleries.
