The Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Board of Education approved a $2.32 billion operating budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 on Tuesday, Feb. 11 . The budget is a 4 percent increase over this year's and is 2.3 percent above the minimum level required by state law.
