After nearly seven months of time consuming, strenuous hard work, I have finally completed my comprehensive time lapse of Montgomery Blair High School.

After two months of strenuous work, 80 hours of taking pictures in 20 degree weather, two near arrests and many sleepless nights, my hard work isn't going unnoticed. The beauty of the bustling life in Downtown Silver Spring is captured in the 7,123 photos I sequenced together into this seamless timelapse. From the glimmering lights of the ice rink to the changing traffic lights of a common intersection, life in the boisterous city of Silver Spring is perfectly encapsulated through the lens of my camera.

Despite the freezing temperatures, many Silver Spring residents braved the cold on Monday night to hang out with friends, ice skate with family and see the newest winter blockbusters. Nick Grossman and I, however, grabbed our tripods, set up our cameras and endured the freezing winter wind. For about five hours we stood outside, watching our cameras take still frames of the movement and liveliness that is downtown Silver Spring.

On day 3, students had to use small pipettes to remove the the dead eggs and if hatched already, the empty cases. If the the dead eggs and empty cases were not removed, as they decompose, they could release toxins that may kill other eggs and hatching larvae.

On day 1, four tanks of zebrafish were setup each with different letters corresponding to the different types. Each group of students were assigned a certain genetic cross of two zebrafish. The crosses included A x D, B x C and C x D.

Students from the first independent group strike a poise as the stage curtains close for the next group. Students are allowed to form independent groups and make up there own choreography to the songs of there choice.
