Neela Pal

Name: Neela Pal
Position: Page Editor
Graduation Year: 2002
Neela Pal spent a year in journalism her sophomore year, under the assumption that she would be saying goodbye to her dream of being on the newspaper at Blair. Despite these worries, she was pleasantly surprised at being accepted as a page editor. An avid writer who is out to meet "new people," Neela is looking forward to writing fine pieces of journalistic works for the paper. Besides writing, she enjoys kicking butt (or trying to) in karate, being with friends, talking about things that matter (and sometimes don't), as well as being a classical Indian dancer for 10+ years. In the past, she has received a Musicianship award in school for playing the flute as well as various other awards, in both dance as well as academics. A student of the Magnet program, Neela is proud to be a part of Blair and looks forward to her one remaining year.
