Kang-Xing ("Mr. K") Jin is a senior in the Blair magnet program. His first name is pronounced exactly like it is spelled--"consin," as in the last two syllables of Wisconsin, where he was born. This year, he is co-managing news editor of Chips. Besides journalism, Kang-Xing's academic interests include computer science and mathematics. He is a member of the math team and was a member of Blair's first place senior division American Computer Science League team last year. Outside of school, he enjoys violin, piano and tennis. He has played the violin for 11 years and is a first violin in the Montgomery County Senior Youth Orchestra.
