Samantha's offers a variety of dishes from many Latino countries. While there is the traditional Mexican cuisine, there is also the option of trying something from El Salvador. If you want just a sample of different dishes, I recommend making your own meal out of the a la cart options, such as pupsas, enchiladas, or platanos maduros. There are also many excellent combination platters and individual meals. The typical Mexican choices include favorites such as the enchiladas, burritos, or chimichangas. For something more unique, the Lengua a la Portuguesa (beef tongue) or the Trucha Frita a la Salvadorena (Salvadorean Trout) are two of many options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, with friendly waiters and elegant table arrangements. The food is delicious, but the service is slow.

Located on University Blvd. by the intersection of University and Piney Branch, parking can be difficult. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant, but it gets full very fast on weekend nights.
