Bouncy vibes for Blazers stuck in the back-to-school blues

School is in full swing for Blazers during the transition from summer to fall. Already ankle-deep in work, Blazers long for more sleep and are stuck in the back-to-school blues. It's time to take a short study break and let loose with some energetic tunes and upbeat lyrics.

Now here's something to bring you out of that funk and off your seat. The song comes from the band's album Dirty Work released this past June. The combination of pop and punk is a perfect way to get up off your feet and just move, by the time it's over the listener will be craving for more.

"Good Life" – OneRepublic
This month is a bit dreary with the change of weather, so there might be some mood swings and cranky people around. OneRepublic's "Good Life" has a sweet melody that can bring anyone out of a bad mood by getting them to sway to the beat. The song's chorus will have you feeling good all over and giving off that positive energy to others down in the dumps.

"Don't Stop Believin'" - Journey
A 1981 classic rock anthem from the band's album Escape is a bit slower than the other tracks on the list but its message has been going strong for years. The song's emotion-filled vocals and lyrics brighten your mood after a tough day. Plug in your earphones and listen to it while getting through that long textbook reading.

"Give Me Everything" – Pitbull ft. Ne-Yo, AfroJack & Nayer
Blazers, this may be your last chance to go out and just have fun before the heavier loads of work are brought on by the school year, so enjoy it while you can. "Give Me Everything" has an infectious vibe that makes you want to jump up and dance. Grab a group of friends or take a break from your study group and have some fun, but once you start dancing you may not want to stop.

"Twist and Shout" – The Beatles
Let's add something a little funky and classic to this line up with The Beatles. John Lennon's vocals really wake you up and find enough energy to match that voice. Sometimes it's just fun to move around and go crazy to let out all the stress building up inside you. This song offers a great way to just let loose and just sing along. So go, shake it up, twist and shout!
