Diallo and Cruz expressed enormous gratitude for their coaches, friends and teachers. “I feel really happy right now. I’ve come a long way from freshman year.” Cruz said. “I feel relieved. It has been a long recruiting process; I’m happy it's all over. I made the right decision,” Diallo added.

Both Blazers hope to use their athletic career to advance their academic pursuits as well. “I want to use this as an opportunity to pursue my career in nursing,” Diallo said. Likewise, Cruz hopes to major in business.

Blair wishes these athletes the best of luck for the bright athletic and academic careers they have ahead of them!
