Girls' volleyball suffers tough loss to Whitman

The Whitman Vikings (7-4-1) narrowly beat the Blair Blazers (6-6), 17-25, 21-25 and 17-25. For Blair, this was senior night, the last home game of the season, making the game more animated and exciting. Although Blazers lost, their amplified spirit and excellent teamwork helped them to play an excellent game.


Girls' varsity volleyball crushes Wheaton

The girls' varsity volleyball team (1-2) defeated the Wheaton Knights (1-2). Despite dropping the first set, the Blazers managed to turn it around and beat the Knights in four sets.


Silver Spring hosts inaugural International Arts Festival

On Tuesday, the first annual Silver Spring International Youth Arts and Culture Festival took place at Veteran's Plaza in Downtown Silver Spring. The festival celebrated the 50th anniversary of the independence of Jamaica and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
