The Blair girls' varsity tennis team beat Poolesville in a long, hard-fought game on both sides. The Blazers (5-1) came out on top of division rival Poolesville (3-3) after battling back from losing the first three doubles matches.

The Blair girls' varsity tennis team just barely came out victorious over Walter Johnson in their second divisional game and fifth game overall. The Blazers (4-1) edged past the Wildcats (2-3), winning four out of the seven matches played.

Varsity girls tennis unable to keep up with B-CC

The Blair girls tennis team lost their home opener to the Bethesda Chevy Chase Barons, dropping five of the seven total matches. The loss was the Blazers' first of the season, dropping them to 1-1, while the Barons remained undefeated and currently sit at 2-0.

The girls' tennis team (4-8) lost 2-5 to Springbrook on senior night on Thursday. As a result of Blair's record this season, the team will drop to Division II for the first time in over 20 years, according to coach David Ngbea.

BCC conquers varsity girls' tennis

Blazer tennis triumphs over Magruder

The girls' tennis team (3-3) defeated the Magruder Colonels (3-2), sweeping all of its matches in a decisive 7-0 victory. Although they were exhausted after losing Monday's critical division game against Churchill, the Blazers didn't let up and as a result earned a big win over Magruder.
