The Blair varsity boys volleyball team (5-3) took their post-time out cheer of "1..2..3 turn up!" to heart as they showed up ready to play on Monday afternoon.
The boys' varsity volleyball team (7-1) won its fifth home game against the Poolesville Falcons (4-4) with final scores of 25-16, 25-11 and 25-17. Despite struggling with their serves during the last two sets, the Blazers were able to defeat Poolesville with their aggressive and clever playing.
The boys' volleyball team (5-1) trailed the Wheaton Knights (3-3) by a score of 3-0 at the start of the first set, foreshadowing a frustrating night for the Blazers. In the end, however, Blair defeated Wheaton by final scores of 25-18, 25-10 and 26-24 and captured its fifth consecutive win.
