Football season is almost over, and those days of Sunday fun are coming to a close. Though this recipe can be used for every occasion, the final celebration of the season can be topped off with a bowl of guacamole.
More than 80 Blazers gathered in the student parking lot this morning to protest the lock-out detention policy. The protest lasted from 7:20 a.m. to 7:39 a.m., after which it was disbanded by security and the administration. Students attending were given detention.
The SGA-sponsored Talent Show, originally scheduled for tonight, was canceled, the SGA announced today. SGA President Eric Hysen cited audio problems as the cause of the cancellation.

But thanks to a wonderful performance by the Blair Players in this year's production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," Ebenezer learns a lesson or two while joining the rest of the cast for perhaps the most delightful fall play director Kelly O'Connor has put on yet.
The Board of Education has established a committee to determine if finals are necessary for those students taking AP classes and go on to take the AP exam in May. According to Maria Trementozzi, the supervisor of the county social studies department, the committee will begin making its decision in the next few weeks.
The parking applications due on Oct. 16th are in the process of final review and will be assigned early next week. Business Manager James Funk received 175 applications with 150 spots available to students.
Sept. 12, POOLESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL - Despite a positive turn-around in their offensive strategy and teamwork, Blair was unable to overcome Poolsville, last year's regional champions, who left the field hockey match with a 6-0 victory.
Blair parking spot permit applications have been delayed due to problems with IDs and a permit application overhaul, according to Business Manager Jim Funk, who said that bringing closure to the ID policy takes precedence over parking distribution.
