Some upperclassmen courses will be moved to the portables during the 2004-2005 school year because of the plan to relocate ninth graders to one section of the building.

Mostly senior classes will be moved to the portables, but some junior classes may also be moved to the portables as well.

Assistant Principal Patricia Hurley believes that upperclassmen are better suited for the portables. "The upperclassmen are more responsible and more mature," said Hurley.

As of now, there will be three social studies classes, one English class, one math class, one foreign language class and one ESOL class relocated to the portables for next year, but the decision is not yet final.
