University of Maryland to host college conference

The University of Maryland will be holding its second annual College Access Conference on Saturday, June 19 at the Stamp Student Union.

The event is designed to offer guidance to students of color as they prepare for the college admissions process. The conference will cover such topics as practicing for the new SAT, choosing a major and exploring need-based and merit-based financial aid options.

Admission is free, but students must call 1-800-422-5867 or log on here by June 14 to confirm attendance.
