Good old chocolate chip cookies


These chocolate chip cookies are good for any occasion. Be it a birthday, potluck, class party or a combination of all three, chocolate chip cookies are always a favorite. Easy to make and even easier to enjoy, these cookies are the ideal sweet.

Makes two dozen cookies

Kitchenware:
- Power mixer
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Cookie sheet (plus grease/cooking spray)

Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 7 oz (1 1/6 cup) chocolate chips
- 1 tbs. milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Procedure:


1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F

2. Beat the flour, salt, sugar, eggs and vanilla at medium speed for two
minutes

3. Add the chocolate chips, nuts and milk and beat at low speed for about
one minute.

4. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a greased cookie sheet

5. Bake at 350 °F 12 minutes or until golden brown
