On Dec. 11, Blair hosted Teen Emotional Health and Wellbeing Night to bring awareness to teen mental health issues. A panel made up of local psychotherapists and former students discussed the stressors teens face such as ADHD, normal high school anxiety, depression and more.

Joy Levin, a Blazer parent, touched on the importance of recognizing mental health problems in teens. "Emotional health and wellbeing never goes away," she said. Psychotherapist Rebecca Resnik broadened the issue to not just teens, but all children and adults. Resnik explained how people cope with mental illness as well as how prevalent mental health problems occur in our society. "Almost all of us are battling some form of mental health disorder," she said.
