Concert to be held March 20
Magnet computer science teacher Karen Collins will hold a CD release concert for her new album, "Backroads and Bayous," at 8:00 p.m. on March 20 at the Unitarian Universalist Church on New Hampshire Ave.
According to Collins, the CD is a mix of country and Cajun music and includes performances from two of Collin's groups – The Blue Moon Cowgirls (Ann Porcella, Dana Ward, and Ira Gitlin) and Squeeze Bayou (Matt Levine, Brian Simms, Fred Feinstein, Kevin Enoch, and David Lopez). It also features two other singers, Dede Wyland and Ric Sweeny.
Concert admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. See The Blue Moon Cowgirls website for details.
