It's March 30th, and, amazingly, snow has started to fall on the Washington region. It's been years since we have had accumulating snow in the spring, and this year might just be the end to that trend. Here's the official prediction from the Silver Chips Online weather team:

Today:

*Rain changing to snow

*Chance of snow: 100%

*Accumulation: 1-2 inches

Tonight:

*Snow ending after midnight

*Chance of Snow: 80%

*Accumulation: 1-2 inches

*Total accumulation: 2-3 inches

Analysis: We've already had a day taken out of spring break, so some students may just be hoping for a delay out of this storm. It's possible that we may be able to report to school on Monday two hours late, but it's unlikely.

Chance of cancellation on Monday: 5%
Chance of two-hour delay on Monday: 25%
