These groups appreciate any monetary, medical supplies and non-perishable food donations

On Feb. 26, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) announced that they will increase their efforts to provide Ukraine with humanitarian assistance and launch fundraising campaigns to help displaced Ukrainian families.

ADRA will also supply packages with clothes, cash vouchers, and other needed supplies to Ukrainian refugees. Monetary donations to help with their effort can be made here

Although ADRA is headquartered in Silver Spring, it is an international organization and has volunteers all over the world. ADRA volunteers in Romania have already begun providing shelter to refugees.

Yesterday, St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church announced that they will be accepting donations to deliver to Ukraine. Donations can be made from 6 a.m. until midnight at 15100 New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring. The most urgently needed items are medical supplies such as bandaids, Neosporin, ibuprofen and vitamins. They will also be accepting non-perishable food. Clothing donations will not be accepted.
