During the pep rally, which will be emceed by seniors Mady Nadje and Fran Djoukeng, spring sports teams will be announced and walk onto the turf. During spirit week, students will dress up accordingly with the different spirit days. In order to decide on the spirit day themes, members of SGA asked for student opinions, clarified with administration which potential days would be appropriate and voted to finalize the days.

This year some of the themes are different than those of other spirit weeks but SGA decided to keep some days like wacky tacky day and pajama day consistent, Nadje explained. "We normally always have certain days, they're like must-haves," he said. Monday is tacky neon day, Tuesday is little kid day, Wednesday is pajama day, Thursday is college/jersey day and Friday is red out day.

On Wednesday April 21, SGA will hold the annual blood drive. Last year, the SGA collected 137 pints of blood, three pints short of its goal. This year, the organizers hope to get more donations. "We, as Blair, as one of the biggest schools in the county, hope to get as many donations as we can," Nadje said. SGA Vice President Adam Biru added, "We want to help out as much as we can."

In order to spread the word about spirit week, the SGA has posted flyers around the school, SGA Parliamentarian Lauren Krohmer explained. "We've given out flyers in advisory, at lunch and to teachers," she said.

Junior Class President Christina Stiles said that the SGA hopes to end the negative energy surrounding outdoor pep rallies by making this spring's pep rally more fun than those of years past. "We're hoping to make it the best pep rally yet," she said.
