Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

A must-have Halloween snack


After carving a pumpkin to use as Halloween decoration, most people forget that a pumpkin can also be used as food. The seeds of a pumpkin, when cooked correctly can become a delicious autumn snack.

Makes 4, 1/4 cup servings

Kitchenware:
- Pumpkin
- Medium mixing bowl
- 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan


Ingredients:
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds, cleaned
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt


Preparation:

1. Heat oven to 350°F

2. Combine the pumpkin seeds, butter and salt in medium bowl

3. Place mixture onto an ungreased 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan

4. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until seeds are dry and begin to turn brown
