Redskins' week two preview

The Redskins are going south to face the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday at 1:00. Although the Skins have lost four consecutive games on the road, they are facing a Falcon team without its best player, Michael Vick.

The Dirty Birds are much less threatening with Doug Johnson taking the snaps, even though he led the team to victory last week against Bill Parcell's Cowboys. The offense still possesses the ability to be effective with key players like wide receiver Peerless Price and running backs Warrick Dunn and T.J. Duckett.

Washington sneaked away with a close victory last week against the Jets, expect them to do the same on Sunday. Quarterback Patrick Ramsay proved he can get the job done against a solid defense last week, finishing 17-23 for 185 yards and a touchdown strike.

The Skins defense should be able to contain the Vick-less Falcon's attack. They played extremely well last week, holding the Jets to 158 total yards and stifling star running back Curtis Martin, who finished the game with only 48 yards.

PREDICTION:
Even though the Falcons are favored by three points, the Skins should be able to come away victorious, and win by a score of 14-13.
