Poetry workshop

Note: This event has been postponed due to the inclement weather. Details to come when they become available.

Poet Liz Rees is acting as a "poet-in-residence" at Blair for the next three weeks.

Rees will be talking to English classes and conducting poetry workshops. These workshops will allow students to "talk about poetry, write poetry, and share it," said English teacher Mrs. Josenhans. Rees will be working mostly with ninth and eleventh graders.

On Thursday December 5, Rees will hold a poetry workshop during 5B lunch in Room 142. The workshop is open to all students interested. Josenhans suggests students bring poems that they have written. In the workshop Rees will read and critique students poems. "This is a great opportunity for students to do a poetry workshop with someone who does it for a living," Josenhans said.
