Delay in applications due to issues with ID policy

The parking applications due on Oct. 16th are in the process of final review and will be assigned early next week. Business Manager James Funk received 175 applications with 150 spots available to students.

Applications were given out later than last year, due in large part to the formation of the ID policy, according to Funk, who is in charge this year of assigning parking permits.

The parking permits will issued to students based on the students' extracurricular activities. "The assignment of parking spots will definitely be needs-based because of their limited number," explained Funk.

Those not assigned a spot will be able to get temporary spaces for special circumstances on a day by day basis.
