The Counseling Department and the PTSA are creating a panel of former Blair students, parents, guidance counselors and current seniors to share their experiences at college and in the workforce in an assembly in the SAC at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5.

According to the Counseling Department the event, entitled "The Transition from Blair to the World Beyond," is designed to answer questions that current students have about life after Blair. Questions include "What would students or parents do differently if they had the chance?" and "How well-prepared were they for college?"

Career Center specialist Cathy Henderson-Stein encouraged students of all grade levels and parents to attend. She said the diverse panel will provide information that will be useful for anyone preparing for life after high school. According to Henderson-Stein, topics will range from how to get a first job to how to survive the college-application process.
