One hundred twenty one finalist awards (103 academic and 18 in the arts) and 146 semifinalist awards (133 academic and 13 in the arts) were presented to students from high schools all over the county.
Finalists will be offered a $3,000 renewable scholarship to any college or university in Maryland. Semifinalists will be offered scholarships not used by finalists. In addition, each student will be recognized by all Maryland institutions and will receive a certificate of achievement.
In order to qualify for academic awards, students must earn a 3.7 GPA or higher and score well on their SAT, PSAT, or ACT.
