Blair students have opportunity to help less fortunate
Blair students can give donations and volunteer at various organizations in Montgomery County to help the less fortunate this holiday season. The following information is compiled from the November 27 issue of The Washington Post Montgomery Extra.
Community Companions Program

The organization is asking for new toys, video games, nonperishable food and furniture for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. During business hours, contributions can be deposited at the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services located at 32 Courthouse Square, at the Rockville Senior Center located at 1150 Carnation Drive or on the back porch of the Glenview Mansion located on Baltimore Road and Edmonston Drive. After 5 p.m. and on weekends, donations will be collected at the Rockville police station at City Hall located at 111 Maryland Avenue.
