American Idol lacks ideal vocalists

There was unspoken expectation for American Idol 3 to be bigger and better than its prequels. That expectation has not been met.

Although the dreadful singing kept up with the traditional laughter during Idol tryouts, it was time to hear some amazing voices. But that didn't happen on Wednesday night.

Even judges were disappointed with the performances. The strong singers from the top 30 that were picked are easy to pull out.

The people who I think will make it to the top seven are…

1.Leah Vladowski
2.Nicole Tieri
3.Erskine Waloott
4.Amy Adams
5.Jesus
6.Noel
7.Katie Webber

They are not necessarily deserving of the title, but they have the strongest voices of the group. However, they do not compare to their Idol predecessors, Kelly and Ruben. From their performances on Wednesday night, my prediction is America won't have as much fun picking their the winner as it has the past. These contestants need to get their act together fast before not only their dreams and aspirations go away, but also the success of American Idol as well.
