The homecoming game will be Friday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m. against Watkins Mill, followed by the homecoming dance Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
If a student has obligations, he or she will not be able to purchase a ticket unless the student is on a payment plan. A payment plan obligates a student to pay a certain amount of money each week until all their obligations are paid off.
A single ticket will be sold for $12 unless a student brings in two canned foods, and then their homecoming ticket fee will be reduced to $10. Tickets will be on sale until October 24, and will be sold at the concession stand by the gym.
The theme for homecoming is award shows. The themes were voted on during period 6. Among the choices were Arabian nights, Oscar/ BET/ MTV award shows, diversity, dance eras, and moonlight and roses.
The week of homecoming will also be spirit week in which every day has a different theme. Monday will be represent your culture/hat day, Tuesday will be pajamas day, Wednesday will be wacky tacky day, Thursday will be dance decades day while Friday will be school colors day.
Also, homecoming week will also include a powderpuff football game in which girls play football and boys are the cheerleaders on October 22. Senior girls will play against girl juniors.
