Boo! It's that time of year again. Pumpkins are carved, costumes crafted and now all that's left is food. Halloween allows cooks to get creative, experimenting with foods to make them look cute, creepy or downright disgusting. Now you can be creative too by making these dishes to dazzle or haunt your friends.
Bat Sandwitches
Prep time is about 30-40 minutes. Makes 24 sandwitches.

-mixing bowl and spoon
-3 to 4 inch bat shaped cookie cutter or knife
-Butter knife
Ingredients:
-24 slices of pumpernickel or whole wheat bread
-3 cups shredded cheese
-8-ounce container of chive-and-onion flavored cream cheese, softened
-4-ounce size jar of diced pimiento, drained
-1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation:1.Stir shredded cheese, cream cheese, pimiento and pecans in the mixing bowl.
2.Cut out two bat shapes from each slice.
3.Spread filling over half of the bats and top with remaining bats.
4.Enjoy!
Witches Brew Punch
Prep time is about 10 minutes. Makes about 32 servings.

Kitchenware:
-Punch bowl
-Mixing spoon
Ingredients:
-1 packet of orange gelatin
-1/2 to 1 cup sugar
-2 cups boiling water
-1 can of apricot nectar
-1 can pineapple juice
-3/4 cup lemon juice
-4 liters ginger ale, chilled
Preparation:1.In the mixing bowl, dissolve gelatin and sugar in water.
2.Stir in the apricot nectar, pineapple juice and lemon juice.
3.Freeze contents overnight, removing 2-3 hours prior to serving.
4.Place contents of one container in a punch bowl and mash with a potato masher. Repeat with second container.
5.Mix with ginger ale right before serving and enjoy!
