Sliced Bread 1 – Justice League 1
This was a territorial, back and forth game with neither team really gaining much of an advantage over the other for long periods of time. Towards the middle of the game, Jisung Kim, playing for Sliced Bread, snuck in a low snapshot past goalie David Ufford. After that goal, however, Ufford settled down and proceeded to pitch a shutout for the rest of the game.
The defense on both sides was extremely good as neither team could launch a sustained attack in the other team's territory.
Toward the late stages of the game, however, the Justice League stepped up their offensive pressure in an effort to tie the game. Their efforts were rewarded as Lucas Henry capitalized on a whizzing snapshot that got past goalie Robert Gibbs.
06 Spandex Warriors 8 – Nachitos 0
Adam McLeod once again led the way for the 06 Spandex Warriors, scoring four goals in a rout over the Nachitos. Julieanne Spatz, playing at left wing, added two more goals. Tommy Dugan and Avi Wolfman-Arent scored one each as well.
Most of the game was played in Nachitos territory and Nachitos goalie Iliya Smithka was pretty much abandoned by her defense as the Warriors often got second, third and even fourth tries at the goal. Before one of McLeod's goals, the Nachitos defense attempted to clear the ball out but McLeod got the ball and simply walked up to the crease. After sizing up his shot, he blazed a wrist flick right past Smithka's outstretched arms.

Raging Gametes 6 – Riemann Sums 2
Cary Retterer came up with a hat trick and Peter Bullen scored one more to put the game away for the Raging Gametes. Bullen's early goal was pretty funny as the ball took an awkward bounce off of Riemann Sums goalie Kiran Bhat into the air. As Bhat was searching for the ball, it hit his stick and trickled over the goal line.
Retterer's first goal was arguably his best goal as he took the ball at half-court and shot a low skipping snapshot that went past a screen and into the goal.
Jisung Kim, playing for the Riemann Sums, scored their only goal on a wrist flick that snapped past Gametes goalie Adam Schuyler.
Greg Jukes played wonderful defense for the Raging Gametes, getting his stick underneath the ball and flicking it out of trouble every time it came close to him.
Fighting Funkmasters 2 – I Kissed Your Sister 0
The score is a bit misleading as this game was a hotly contested affair that could have gone either way. After Robert Gibb scored an early goal for the Funkmasters, the game was pretty much back and forth until Robert Riker scored late to make the score 2-0 Funkmasters.
