Twenty-one Blair students won awards at the Annual Montgomery Area Science Fair on March 26-28. In addition to the county, honors were given by organizations including the U.S. Army Research Office, the Geological Society of Washington and the Health Physics Society.
Seniors Lauren Cohen and Melis Anahtar won the senior-division grand prizes for their biochemistry and engineering projects, respectively. Their research will be entered in the fifty-fifth annual International Science and Engineering Fair to be held March 9-15 in Portland, Oregon.
