Anticipated spring event to take place this Friday
Blair's annual Mr. Blazer competition and new Ms. Blazer competition will take place this Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. Admission is $5 and $3 respectively or $6 for both if purchased in advance at the SGA office.
The Ms. Blazer competition will take place first. Seven girls will compete for the recently created title by displaying their talent through performances ranging from song and dance to playing an instrument.
At 7:00 p.m., Blair's male students will battle for a chance to be titled Mr. Blazer. The boys will perform comedy, poetry, break dancing, acting and singing for their talents. One special contestant will receive the Mr. Personality Award after successfully completing a mandatory challenge.
Both competitions will have an interview and evening-dress portion in which they will have to answer questions such as why they believe they deserve the crown.
