Bands featured in two separate concerts
The Blair music program is performing this Thursday, Dec. 7, in the auditorium from 7 p.m. to around 8:30 p.m. The concert will feature the beginning jazz band, honors jazz band and percussion ensemble.
The symphonic band, symphonic orchestra, concert band and string orchestra will perform in a separate concert next Thursday, Dec. 14, from 7 p.m. to around 9 p.m. in the auditorium. Both concerts are free of charge.
In previous years, all bands have performed together in one concert. Music teachers Dustin Doyle and Michelle Roberts decided to decrease the concert length by splitting the bands up. "It kind of got to be a marathon concert," said first-year teacher Roberts.
